The Microbiome: Uncovering answers in human, animal and environmental research
Microbiomes are currently the superstars of the scientific world. More and more research points to a range of possible roles for the microbiome in treating and preventing the development of metabolic diseases and much more. From seeds and plants to the food we eat and the therapies we discover, some of Indiana’s top investigators, universities and companies alike are racing to learn more about the many life-improving and life-saving possibilities microbiomes present.
Indiana Bioscience Research Institute is perfectly aligned to bring together human, animal and environmental resources to collectively develop innovative solutions to improve metabolic health and nutrition. In this Frameworx, David Broecker, president and CEO of IBRI, will lead the discussion about the importance of this area of research and present a showcase of the current work being conducted in Indiana.
